My name is Hannah and I am 27 years young. I am based in the UK and have been baking for as long as I can remember thanks to my Mum! She is a fantastic cook and I remember asking her if I could bake something when ever I was bored when I was a kid and thankfully she always let me. This gave me the opportunity to experiment and gain experience baking!

My only culinary work/education experience is as a waitress when I was 16... I lasted a month! I am completely self taught and have had many baking mistakes that I have learnt from and like everyone, still make them!

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Media Production and since graduating have done zero work in the industry! Sadly I graduated during the recession of '08, making it really hard to get Media work. I now work as a  Software Tester and spend any opportunity that I can in the kitchen.

I love food and thankfully in September will be marrying Jamie who also shares my love for food! We love everything about it. The way it looks, tastes, makes you feel and the social aspects of it!

So in this blog I will post everything I bake! Now, what am I classing as baking? Jamie asked me this earlier. What does the dictionary describe as baking? (When I say dictionary, I mean Googles dictionary!

Verb Cook (food) by dry heat without direct exposure to a flame, typically in an oven or on a hot surface: "I baked him a cake for his birthday".

In that case, this blog will showcase anything that has been made it the oven, whether its sweet or savoury.
